! ✨The Johnson League Championship is fast approaching! Join St Thomas Episcopal School and Kids Robotic Foundation in celebrating the final event of the season—a compelling display of teamwork, innovation, and STEM excellence.

  • What: The Johnson League Championship (FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics)
  • When: Saturday, January 17, 2026
  • Where: Hosted by St Thomas Episcopal School and Kids Robotic Foundation • Houston, Texas
  • What to Expect: A season-long robotics competition with three qualifying meets and 20 intense matches. Middle and high school teams design, build, and program robots to solve real-world challenges!

Named for NASA’s Johnson Space Center, this event champions innovation and teamwork, mentored by giants like NASA, Nobel-affiliated scientists, 3M, and Raytheon. High school volunteers earn 40 service hours toward national awards, fostering leadership and professional skills.

RSVP RequiredWe are excited to be hosting our annual Junior First Lego League Expo! The expo will be taking place on SaturdayDecember 16th from 8:30 AM – 12 PM!
Junior First Lego League Expo Schedule:
8:30 AM – Team registration and set up
9:00 AM – Welcome
9:30 AM – Judging begins
11:00 AM – Judging Ends and review begins
11:00 – 11:30 AM Show and Tell, anyone interested in show and tell about FLL / Jr.FLL or what they created
11:30 AM – Award Ceremony
12:00 PM – FinishParticipant Registration:
Due to limited space and availability, it is very important that teams RSVP before Thursday December 14th! Please RSVP by registering on: It will be taking place in the Duncan Family Conference Room that is on the second floor. Please check in at the guest information desk at front when you enter and they will lead you to the conference room.
Parking is not included, so all teams are responsible for their own parking.
**This form has disclaimer we require all parents to fill-out for each child participating or attending this event.

TEAM Registration: to confirm the registration all coaches are required to send a email to lillie@kidsroboticacademy.com of their interest to participate in this expo event. Please than collect and send in payment of $25 per team along with roster. Check payable to Kids Robotic Foundation.

Important Information:
1- Teams are expected for bringing a LEGO based mechanized model and a poster supporting their team’s research.
The team will be interviewed at the event. The Event concludes with medals to all teams.
4- All siblings are welcome to attend and support their team. (Parents please take care of your kids)

EXTRAS:
Houston Toy Drive (Completely optional; bring any toy to donate for good cause. No pressure! Just come and have fun!)
